Stunning example of this very rare sword.

Very good condition. Absolutely excellent, near mint blade, rock solid shark skin grip, dent free scabbard.
Made from a cut down 1899 pattern cavalry trooper's blade and an 1897 pattern staff sergeant's hilt.
Grip with fishskin and steel rivets, this sword never had any wiring.
Rare, chunky, and very solid. Feels good.

Very good condion, leather coverind to wood hilt 99% present.
Original Napoleonic British 1796 Pattern Model Sword used by Light Cavalry including the Hussars and designed by John Gaspard LeMarchant (killed in action, Battle of Salamanca on 22 July 1812) .
39 inches in scabbard, P guard with 33 ½ inches blade. Blade is in excellent condition straight with few nicks. No pitting, with matching 2 ring scabbard. Scabbard with even surface rust and beautiful patina.  Draws beautifully and is tight in the scabbard.
Saw extensive action throughout the Peninsula Wars; was it at Waterloo..?
Solid bit of British history.

1822 Pattern Victorian Officer's Sword.

Good example but tired, made c. 1845.
Victotian 1822/45 (1845 Pattern Blade) Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword.
Folding guard tight and fully functional.
Fishskin grip and wiring all present and tight.
Backpiece has some play - 2mm.
Brass guard is tarnished as one would expect; could do with a clean.
Scabbard has a nice patina, no dents or dinks.
Etching to blade is very faded, dark patina down the length, very little pitting though.
Maker mark has faded to illegibility, though I am researching the proof mark, which appears to be a 'WB'. ( Could be: William Bond, London, William Brander, London, William Buckmaster, London or William Butler, Birmingham) I hope to find out soon!
Sword draws well, though is a bit loose in the scabbard, washer is present.

Very good condition, intact, flexible leather scabbard, all fits together nicely and tightly. No loose fittings, some surface cracks to scabbard but nothing major.
Sword is very good condition, very small amount of pitting on one side near the blunted point.
Issued to infantry regiments other than the Rifles. The Rifles' issue had a thinner blade.

Stunning piece. Victorian. Wilkinson made. Etched blade, Victorian cipher, 13th  Middlesex Regiment, inscribed, 'all for the regiment'.
Great hilt, no movement at all, black fishskin grip is as mint.
Single tiny ding to scabbard, scabbard highly polished nickel.
Sword is tight in scabbard and draws beautifully.
Leather sword knot is present.

Also Inscribed:
'THE SWORD OF COL WALEY COHEN CMC CBE DSO TD
PRESENTED TO THE CLERESTORY LODGE NO 6551
BY HIS SON W BRO WAYLEY COHEN (FOUNDER) DEC. 1948'

Mostly very clean. Small amount of pitting near point, some blackening around some of the etching. A few very small scratches but nothing major.
Col Wayley Cohen, I believe, was great-uncle to Sam Wayley Cohen, Gold Cup winning jockey and the man credited with getting William and Kate back together.

Beautiful small sword.
Great condition scabbard, 100% original black leather finish.
Beautiful double channelled blade, very well weighted.
Blade has been cleaned at some point, some very very light pitting that is barely heavier than a nice patina.
Firm in scabbard, wood lining present, brass attachments are firm (though I wouldn't pull them).

Near mint blade, very good scabbard.
One of the best French Gladii I have ever seen.
Scabbard a little bit flaked, but 85% of black original finish remains. Brass attachments tight and no movement. Stitching original and perfect.
Blade is spotless. Marked TALABOT FS1832

on blade, above on hilt is 61379.
On the reverse we have a circled N on the hilt and a circled B on the blade below the cartouched P which I think is the proof mark.

Great example of a WW2 era Japanese Army Type 19 Dress Sword. Mounted with a long, slightly curved blade in very good original condition.
Bade is clean and even smells of oil of cloves as used in Japan for protecting swords.
Wire is great, scabbard has been cleaned well and has no dents.
Great example all round.
